Sometimes a Superstar doesn’t need to be featured on television every week to make their potential departure worth noting. It’s been a while since fans last saw Summer Rae in the ring. She’s been out of action due to injury and seeing how she’s not on Total Divas anymore there’s been practically no sight of her on WWE TV.
Summer Rae was in the audience at the Mae Young Classic but that has been about it for her. She hasn’t really been seen since being drafted to Raw during the 2016 WWE Draft. She might have popped up on Total Divas and had a little cameo, but she wasn’t highlighted in any respect.
You never know what a social media message can really mean sometimes but this one is quite puzzling. Summer Rae recently posted a little video featuring highlights of her in the ring with Sasha Banks. She attached a message saying: “always wished we had a program together, this one and &” possibly to imply she’s not having any more matches.
If Summer Rae does hang up her boots, she’ll be missed. Truth be told, she had way more ability in the ring than people gave her credit for and it was always nice to have a little bit of Summer any time of the year.
Bayley has several interests outside the world of pro wrestling. She is also a video game enthusiast which is why today is such a big day for The Hugger. The Nintendo World Championships took place on Saturday and Bayley wouldn’t miss this event.
The Manhattan Center was full of people who love video games as much as Bayley does and she was super excited to be an invited competitor. The Nintendo World Championships’ official website lists a little bio for Bayley as well.
According to Bayley’s profile, her favorite Nintendo game is Donkey Kong, her favorite character is Diddy Kong, and her favorite Nintendo moment was playing WWF No Mercy 64 with her brother. That’s just neat informational to store away in your memory bank.
This is obviously a great experience for Bayley and it looks like she had a blast being amongst her people. If one of the games she plays is Doney Kong or No Mercy 64 then she’ll be in good shape. I just wonder how well she’d do if they had her play WCW vs nWo: World Tour instead.
