They say that anything can happen in professional wrestling, and that theory was proved in the most unfortunate way on Friday night.
Chelsea Green made her big debut on Friday Night SmackDown and she was set to compete in a four way match against Liv Morgan, Natalya and Tamina Snuka, but Green didn’t last long as she disappeared after being kicked off the ring apron by Morgan.
Following the match WWE confirmed that Chelsea Green suffered a broken wrist when they posted the following announcement:
“Chelsea Green medical update
During the Fatal 4-Way Qualifying Match for the opportunity to qualify for the SmackDown Women’s Survivor Series team on Friday evening, Chelsea Green suffered a broken left wrist.
Chelsea was taken to a local hospital for further evaluation.”
Green later took to Instagram to put a positive twist on a bad experience by telling fans that she’ll be back before they know it.
“Just another twist in my @wwe story tonight! If you wondered where I went after my entrance, here’s your answer… another broken arm. Nothing I haven’t dealt with before! I’ll be back before you know it! 💙”
Stay tuned for more updates on Chelsea Green’s status as they become available.
