It’s no big secret that WWE officials have been working hard to lock down their talents over the last few years, and it looks like another name has decided to stick with WWE.
Fightful Select reports that Chelsea Green signed a new three year contract extension with WWE some time after the wrist injury she suffered back in November. Her original deal was reportedly set to expire this summer.
Chelsea Green made her Friday Night SmackDown debut back in November when she competed in a four way match against Liv Morgan, Tamina and Natalya.
Unfortunately for Green she suffered an injury during the match and had to take time off. It was rumored that original plans called for her to win and join the SmackDown women’s team at Survivor Series.
It’s not clear when she’ll be returning, but she did tease a comeback on Twitter back in January.
