WWE Superstar Reportedly Pulled From WWE Title Match At Elimination Chamber

Daniel Bryan has been the WWE Champion for months now, and every Superstar on the SmackDown Live roster wants a shot at his title.

Recently it was announced that Bryan would be defending his title in an Elimination Chamber match against Randy Orton, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Jeff Hardy and Mustafa Ali, but it looks like Ali has been pulled from the match.

Fightful is reporting that Mustafa Ali has been pulled from the title match due to injury.

According to the report, sources backstage at Raw noted that the SmackDown Live star’s mounting injuries proved to be too much, so WWE decided to pull him.

Ali had reportedly been working through an injured tailbone that got hurt again at the Royal Rumble, and his eye was recently swollen shut after a match with Randy Orton. One of his injuries got worse during the WWE live event on Sunday night, and he’s not expected to be cleared for action this week.

Mustafa Ali has assured WWE officials he can work, but he’s been pulled as a precaution, and plans call for the company to run with a storyline blaming Randy Orton for the injuries.
