There’s never a good time for a WWE Superstar to be injured, and earlier this week New Day member Xavier Woods suffered an Achilles injury during a match at a WWE live event in Australia.
Now PWInsider is reporting that Xavier Woods underwent surgery today to repair an Achilles tear in his ankle.
The belief at this point in time is that he will be out of action anywhere from six months to a year.
Xavier Woods posted the following update on Twitter noting that he’s sad he’s going to be away from the fans, but he will be keeping busy by streaming on his Twitch channel.
Updaaaaaaate – for those of you asking what exactly happened in the first place. I was on top of my treehouse and someone yelled that my epidermis was showing….https://t.co/lTgxrMaBjE pic.twitter.com/nXDep1KWDl
