WWE has a number of Superstars who are currently sidelined due to injury, and Robert Roode has been out of action since June. It doesn’t look like fans will be seeing Roode anytime soon as he’s now recovering from an injury.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Robert Roode underwent neck fusion surgery on November 10 in Birmingham. It’s unclear how long Roode will be out for but it was noted that recovery could take anywhere from six to fourteen months depending on the surgery.
Robert Roode first signed with WWE in 2016 and he went on to win the NXT Championship. He was called up to the main roster in 2017 and has worked both as a singles competitor and in the tag team division teaming with Chad Gable and Dolph Ziggler. So far Roode has cptured the United States Championship, Raw Tag Team Championship, SmackDown Tag Team Championship and WWE 24/7 Championship.
