TMZ reports that officials are desperately trying to find former WWE Superstar Shad Gaspard after Shad went missing during a swim with his 10 year old son at Venice Beach on Sunday.
Gaspard and has son were among a group of swimmers who got caught up in a strong rip tide. Shad Gaspard’s son was rescued, but officials have not been able to find Gaspard himself.
An official working with the Los Angeles Fire Department commented and told the media that they believe Gaspard “did submerge.”
One witness at the scene told TMZ that Shad directed lifeguards to save his son first, which they did. Around that time a big wave crashed down on Shad Gaspard and that’s the last time he was seen.
Divers were sent to the area and helicopters searched from above, but as of this writing Shad is still missing.
