Wrestling certainly isn’t for the weak of heart, and unfortunately injuries do happen from time to time.
It was recently reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Rezar of the Authors of Pain suffered a torn right bicep on Monday night.
Rezar competed in an eight man tag team match which saw Seth Rollins, Murphy and AOP defeat The Street Profits and The Viking Raiders.
The injury reportedly occurred when Rezar was taking a crossbody from Raw Tag Team Champion Montez Ford.
There’s currently no word on how long he’ll be out, but he’s expected to be off TV for the foreseeable future and it’s possible he will need surgery. If he does end up needing surgery he could be out of action for 6 to 8 months.
At this point it’s not clear if his tag team partner Akam will continue to appear on TV as part of the storyline with Seth Rollins and Murphy.
