WWE Superstar Reportedly Out Of Action For 4 To 6 Months, SmackDown Preview

ProWrestling.net is reporting that WWE Superstar Erick Rowan underwent surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff on Tuesday. According to the report Dr. Jeffrey Dugas was scheduled to perform the surgery in Birmingham, Alabama. Typical recovery time for this type of injury is 4 to 6 months.

As of this writing WWE has yet to release an official statement regarding the surgery.

Tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown is set to take place from the Valley View Casino in San Diego, CA and it will be the last episode of SmackDown before the No Mercy pay-per-view on Sunday.

So far no matches have been confirmed for SmackDown, but WWE has announced that World Champion AJ Styles, John Cena and Dean Ambrose will have a face to face meeting in the ring.
