WWE Superstar Released, Debut With AEW Announced

Over the last few years there have been a lot of moving pieces in the world of professional wrestling, and it was recently reported that Brian Kendrick had requested to be released from his contract. Fightful Select is now reporting that Kendrick is no longer with WWE.

AEW has since announced that Brian Kendrick will be making his debut tomorrow night in Chicago as he’s set to face off against former AEW World Champion Jon Moxley on Dynamite.

Brian Kendrick last wrestled for the 205 Live brand back in 2020, but he has not appeared on Monday Night Raw or Friday Night SmackDown since 2017.

During his runs with WWE fans saw Kendrick capture the Cruiserweight Title one time, and he also captured the WWE Tag Team Titles and the WWE World Tag Team Titles with Paul London. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
