Professional wrestling certainly isn’t ballet, and unfortunately injuries happen far more often than anyone would like them to.
Back in April former SmackDown Tag Team Champion Jimmy Uso suffered an injury, and he’s been out of action ever since.
Fans who are hoping to see The Usos team up again in the near future might be disappointed, as Jey Uso explained to Gorilla Position that his brother won’t be returning to action until January of 2021.
“This past month has just been good for my career. I’m good, I’m happy. My brother is doing good. He’s coming back in January. That’s right around the corner. We’re going to turn up in 2021. We came back in January 2020 and helped [Roman] with the dog food. I should have let his ass eat the dog food. In 2021, we’re coming back in January. You thought it is hot now, we’re about to double up.”
Jey Uso has been feuding with Roman Reigns over the Universal Championship, and Jimmy last appeared at Clash of Champions when he threw in the towel for his brother.
On Sunday night Jey Uso will get another shot at championship gold when he challenges Roman Reigns for the Universal Title in an I Quit Hell in a Cell match.
