Creative plans often change in WWE, and it looks like one WWE Superstar is in the process of going through a gimmick change.
It was announced a few days ago that NXT star Lio Rush is getting called up to the main roster, and he’ll be joining the 205 Live brand next week.
However, it looks like fans will be seeing a bit of a different Lio Rush than what they’re used to when he officially joins the cruiserweight division.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that current plans call for Rush to work as a heel on the show, and that he’ll be playing a rich, playboy type character.
It also appears that Rush won’t be working with Babatunde Aiyegbusi.
The idea of Rush getting called up has reportedly been in the works for some time now.
