WWE Superstar Comments On Going Solo, Goldust Celebrates Huge Day

Paige surprised a lot of people when she returned to WWE television and brought up Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville in the process to form Absolution. Paige goes way back with Deville and Rose as she was a judge on their season of Tough Enough so it was a logical alliance.

Then Paige sadly suffered an injury that made WWE pull the plug on her entire in-ring career. She was shelved but still appeared with Absolution on Raw in a managerial role.

Then Paige finally admitted to her injury and retired from in-ring competition on the Raw after WrestleMania. But her hiatus away from WWE didn’t last long because the Anti-Diva was brought back on the very next night as the new General Manager of SmackDown Live ironically taking the place of Daniel Bryan who had just escaped an early retirement situation.

Now Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose are on SmackDown Live as well but Paige told them Absolution is dead. It seems SmackDown Live’s new GM might have an agenda in splitting up the two remaining Absolution members left in active competition.

Deville and Rose might not be fighting side-by-side but they’re still friends and have each other’s backs in other ways. Mandy Rose doesn’t seem upset Deville is getting her own shots because she is confident Sonya will knock Naomi out of the running for the Money In The Bank Ladder Match.

Goldust is an inspiration not just because of who he is as a competitor but he’s also a fantastic human being outside of the ring as well.

Dusty would be proud of Goldy every day as he continues to run with the insane gimmick that worked so well to baffle so many. But Dustin Runnels made the Goldust character work and recently celebrated his 23rd anniversary as The Bazaar One.

The second-generation Superstar also recently celebrated another big anniversary as he showed off his 10-year chip meaning he’s celebrating a decade of sobriety.

Congratulations to Goldust for this amazing accomplishment and we can’t wait to see what happens next. After all, there’s a reason why Goldust has left WWE four times before only to keep coming back where he remains a mainstay to this day.
