Next week WWE will take over MetLife Stadium with the first ever two night SummerSlam and there’s a lot of anticipation heading into the show. A number of wrestling related events are set to take place in the New Jersey area over SummerSlam weekend, but it looks like at least one of them has been canceled.
PWInsider is reporting that the WWE Late Night event featuring Tony Hinchcliffe has been canceled. Originally the event was scheduled to emanate from the Bergen Performing Arts Center in New Jersey on Saturday, August 2nd.
A source at the venue reportedly noted the event was canceled and that ticket sales for the show were light. Aside from Tony Hinchcliffe, Cody Rhodes was the only other name that was being advertised for the show.
