WWE SummerSlam Reportedly Cancelled

WWE has had to move all of their TV tapings to the Performance Center due to the coronavirus pandemic, and fans have been waiting for news on the status of SummerSlam in Boston.

PWInsider is reporting that plans for SummerSlam at the TD Garden in Boston on 8/23 have been cancelled.

WWE’s Biggest Party of the Summer will instead be moved to the Performance Center in Orlando.

Related events for SummerSlam week, NXT TakeOver, SmackDown and Raw will also be moved to the Performance Center.

Mayor Marty Walsh announced back in May that the city of Boston would not allow large public gatherings through the summer.

Stay tuned for more updates.
