Is WWE Still Interested In James Storm?

Many of Impact Wrestling’s top stars such as Bobby Lashley, James Storm and EC3 recently parted ways with the company. EC3 signed a deal with WWE and appeared at NXT Takeover: Philadelphia, and it’s believed that Bobby Lashley will be making his return to the company at some point.

However, James Storm hasn’t given any hints that he’s WWE bound, and the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that there hasn’t been any talk of of him joining the company.

James Storm made his big NXT debut back in October of 2015, and he got a lot of fans talking. Storm made another appearance for the NXT brand, but then returned to TNA shortly after in January of 2016.

Back in January James Storm said that his ultimate goal is to sign with WWE, and he named Bobby Roode as someone he wants to feud with.

“My ultimate goal is to go to WWE,” said Storm. “The WWE has such a grip on the world, it’s pretty amazing, and I believe I still have a lot to give. I’m in the best shape I’ve ever been. When I left Impact, I told people this isn’t my last stop, it’s just time for me to get on a new horse.”
