Earlier this month during the July 10 episode of Monday Night Raw, Giovanni Vinci & Ludwig Kaiser faced off against Matt Riddle & Drew McIntyre, and it was Vinci who lost the match for his team when he was pinned by McIntyre. After the match was over Gunther yelled at Giovanni Vinci and then made his way to the backstage area.
Gunther was asked about Giovanni Vinci’s future with Imperium during a recent interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Riju Dasgupta and he indicated that Vinci’s future has yet to be determined.
“That’s to be determined, I guess, how things go, especially us in Imperium, everybody in there wants to be the absolute elite and wants to be at the absolute top, and sometimes when you fail to deliver that, there are consequences for that and it’s on you to make up again for that situation. So far this hasn’t happened.”
“We haven’t seen him in action [on television] since then. But yeah, that’s the situation right now. It’s not about personal or any other emotional stuff. It’s about the performance in the ring. It’s about the results. When the results are positive, the relationship is positive, and when they are negative, then everything else is negative as well.”
