For weeks now the wrestling world has been talking about CM Punk possibly making his debut with AEW, and on Friday night Punk returned to the world of wrestling during AEW Rampage at the United Center.

CM Punk got a very loud reaction from the fans in attendance, and it seems that there are a lot of people who are happy about the fact that he is back. Shortly after CM Punk made his entrance social media went wild, and a few stars from WWE reacted to the moment without directly mentioning Punk by name.

CM Punk confirmed that he will be returning to the ring when he faces Darby Allin at the All Out pay-per-view in Chicago on Sunday, September 5. Stay tuned for updates.
