If you want to be a great tag team in the world of professional wrestling, then you need a great name. It looks like two WWE 205 Live stars are trying to find the right name for their team, as Cedric Alexander recently turned to the fans and asked for a little help naming his tag team with Rich Swann.
Cedric has yet to make any announcement regarding the name, so it looks like they’re still open to taking suggestions.
Bray Wyatt was originally set to face Finn Balor at the WWE TLC pay-per-view, but Wyatt had to be pulled from the event, and he was replaced by AJ Styles.
AJ Styles and Finn Balor put on a great match last Sunday despite the fact that there was no buildup and no storyline attached to it. Some feel that the two stars stole the show, and in his latest blog Jim Ross praised their ability to get fans invested despite the fact that the match was announced on short notice.
“Enjoyed watching WWE TLC on the WWE Network from my home in Norman. The last two bouts were, as they were designed to be, the proper show closers. AJ vs The Demon was the best match of the night and one that I am somewhat sure that we will see again some day as it’s simply too good to not feature again when it can receive a more structured and timely creative build.”
“Even though the match was ‘creatively cold’ the two talented men made their own story within their match by simply trying to beat their opponent. Simple, right? Even in ‘show biz fighting’ the participants main goal should always be to ‘win,’ bottom line. That’s really always the story in any athletic contest, whether it be show biz or main stream sports.”
