WrestleMania season has come and gone and the last few months certainly gave fans plenty to talk about. Now WWE will be reshuffling the deck as new storylines fall into place, but it looks like one WWE star will be absent for a while.
Bodyslam.net and Cody Whoades of PWN are reporting that Tama Tonga is set to be off TV for some time due to injury. It was noted that the injury could require surgery.
Last week on Friday Night SmackDown, LA Knight attacked Tama Tonga in the parking lot as he was arriving to the show. The belief is that LA Knight attacking Tama Tonga was WWE’s way of writing Tama Tonga off TV for now. Details regarding the injury are unknown at this point in time.

Tama Tonga last stepped into the ring on the April 11 episode of SmackDown when he teamed up with Solo Sikoa to face the team of Randy Orton & LA Knight.
