WWE has been making some big changes recently as all three of the company’s flagship shows have moved to new homes over the last few months. SmackDown moved to USA Network, NXT moved to the CW, and earlier this month Raw moved to Netflix.
Talent have also been switching brands due to the transfer window, and WWE has shuffled the commentary teams once again. Pat McAfee and Michael Cole are calling the action on Raw while Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett are providing commentary for the blue brand. Due to all the changes Corey Graves was recently added to the NXT announce team, and it doesn’t look like he’s happy about the move.
Recently Graves took to social media to vent his frustration when he posted the following:
“Imagine chasing your dream.
Then being TOLD (not deciding) that you’re no longer physically able to pursue your dream.
Then you dedicate your life to something “dream adjacent” and being pretty f****** awesome at it.
And then, when it’s time to enjoy the fruits of your labor, being told you’re not famous enough for your own job.
Just in case you’ve wondered where I’ve been.”
Do you think it was a mistake for WWE to move Corey Graves to NXT? Sound off in the comments below.
