With WWE preparing to expand 205 Live in a big with special live events in January, the company needs all the star power it can get when it comes to the cruiserweight division, but unfortunately it looks like one cruiserweight star will be sitting on the sidelines for a little while.
On this week’s episode of 205 Live it was mentioned that Noam Dar is dealing with a knee injury, and PWInsider has confirmed that the injury is legitimate.
As of right now there’s no word on how long Noam Dar will be out of action, or when the surgery is set to take place so stay tuned for updates.
In regards to the rest of the 205 Live roster, it looks like some big changes could be coming, as WWE announced today that their new series Mixed Match Challenge will be airing on Facebook Watch on Tuesday nights right after SmackDown Live starting in January.
Normally that’s when 205 Live airs on the WWE Network, which means that 205 Live will either need to be taped before SmackDown Live, or the show will need to be pushed back.
Either way it looks like business is about the pick up for 205 Live, because a NXT star will be making his debut on the show next week.
