This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown was full of interesting moments and it featured a six pack challenge to determine the next challenger for Ronda Rousey’s SmackDown Women’s Championship.
Unfortunately for Lacey Evans she didn’t win the match as she was pinned by Shotzi after getting hit with Never Wake Up. Following the match Lacey Evans was interviewed by Cathy Kelley, and she teased that it’s time for her to make a change.
“I’ve done everything that I’ve needed to do to not only get my foot in this door but also to get opportunities. The glitz, the glamour, and every time, I’ve come up short. Do you know what it is? It’s because I got complacent. This lifestyle, I got comfortable. To be honest with you, I have gone out of my way to please everybody but myself. It’s time to go back to basics.”
During Vince McMahon’s reign it seemed that the former CEO of WWE was high on Lacey Evans, but she hasn’t been used as much in recent months, so it will be interesting to see where things go from here. Stay tuned for updates.
