A good gimmick can go a long way in the world of WWE, and last year fans saw the debut of the Maximum Male Models stable. Mace and Mansoor have been working as male models for some time now, but it doesn’t seem that everyone is a fan of the gimmick.
A fan recently took to Twitter to wish Mace a happy birthday and they also said that they hope WWE lets him drop the male model gimmick soon. Mace then indicated that he wants fans to stop complaining about the gimmick when he posted the following response:
“for my birthday, let’s stop complaining about my job for me. i’m quite content being silly with my best friend 😘”
Another fan asked if they could complain about Mace not being a tag team champion yet and he responded with, “yes.”
Maximum Male Models have been heavily featured on SmackDown since their debut, but they were recently moved to Raw, so it will be interesting to see how the group is used on the red brand. Stay tuned for updates.
