It’s been an interesting year when it comes to WWE departures and it was recently reported that MVP’s contract with WWE is currently set to expire in mid-August. The word is that there have been no major discussions regarding a new contract for the former WWE United States Champion. MVP has been out of action since July of 2022, but it seems that his in-ring career is not over.
Recently MVP seemingly teased that he’s looking to return to the ring when he posted a photo of his wrestling boots along with a caption which said, “Dusted these off…”
It’s also been reported that Bobby Lashley’s WWE contract is set to expire in the coming weeks. WWE did make Lashley an offer, but it’s being said that it wasn’t a deal he was jumping to sign. As of right now all signs are pointing toward Lashley and MVP parting ways with WWE unless a new deal is reached.
There is talk of MVP and Lashley potentially bringing The Hurt Business back outside of WWE, and you can get more on that here.
