Tonight’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw is set to take place from Ft. Lauderdale, FL and it will be Pat McAfee’s last WWE show for a while. Earlier today Pat McAfee took to Instagram to announce that he will be taking a hiatus from WWE as he is set to return ESPN’s College Gameday.
“Last Monday Night Raw for a bit. I’m very bummed out that tonight will be my last trip to that wonderful WWE family for a while. Alright, let’s have a day. I’m bummed out. Football season is starting which is awesome, but the WWE family is where i’m supposed to be. I know that and I hope they do too.”
WWE is set to make some big changes to the commentary teams in the coming weeks as Michael Cole announced at SummerSlam that Joe Tessitore will be making his debut on Monday Night Raw starting September 2nd. Cole also announced that he will be moving to SmackDown. There’s currently no word on who will be working alongside Joe Tessitore on Raw.
Stay tuned for updates.
