Adam Copeland made the jump to AEW at the WrestleDream pay-per-view and now the WWE Hall of Famer is officially part of the All Elite Wrestling roster. Copeland’s debut has been a hot topic in the wrestling world recently and Booker T recently shared his thoughts on the big move.
During an episode of his Hall of Fame podcast Booker T showed support for Adam Copeland while making it clear that he gets why the former WWE Champion switched companies.
“Personally, I’m not mad at him because I understand how this business is… You want to finish it the way you do, and being able to finish it with Christian (Cage)… I was reading somewhere that it was his dream to be able to finish his career with Christian, the way he started it. I get it, man.”
“At the end of the day, it isn’t the money – the money is great, it’s all great. But you can’t take it with you. The stories, camaraderie, friendships, the memories… man that stuff is priceless. Everything over there at AEW, everything that Edge is doing with Christian, I’m going to be the last one to hate.”
Adam Copeland will make his in-ring debut for AEW this week on Dynamite when he faces off against Luchasaurus. Stay tuned for more updates on Adam Copeland’s AEW status as they become available.
