WWE is full of talented superstars, but no matter how good you are in the ring every wrestler needs the right gimmick in order to get noticed.
A few years ago Naomi introduced her Feel The Glow gimmick along with her glow in the dark entrance, and the gimmick immediately connected with fans around the world.
The gimmick helped Naomi reach new heights in WWE, as she was finally able to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship, but she recently told Civilian Magazine that she had to pitch the gimmick for two years.
“It took me two years to get that on TV. I had been pitching it literally for two years. I just knew that was me, and that was what kind of set me apart.”
At this point it’s hard to imagine Naomi working in WWE without the gimmick, as it has certainly become part of her identity.
