Sasha Banks made history on Sunday night when she competed in the first ever women’s Royal Rumble, and she now holds the record for the longest amount of time in a women’s Royal Rumble match.
The women of WWE broke new ground on Sunday night, but after the match Ronda Rousey made her big WWE debut, and some people feel that she stole the spotlight at the wrong moment.
Sasha Banks was a guest on Busted Open Radio on Tuesday, and when she was asked about Ronda Rousey’s debut she was very blunt.
“I have nothing nice to say so I can’t say anything at all. So that’s it,” Banks said.
Bully Ray was caught off guard by her comments, but Mark Henry said he respected her for keeping quiet since she has nothing nice to say.
The hosts pressed on and asked if Banks thinks Rousey will be able to hang with the ladies of the WWE women’s division.
“I got nothing nice to say. I’m gonna keep it at that. You’re not gonna get nothing out of me,” Banks added.
Bully Ray went on to ask what she would do if she was told she had to work with Ronda Rousey, and she said that she would do her job like she does every week.
Nia Jax and Nikki Bella also recently threw shade at Rousey’s debut, so it appears that there may be some people who are unhappy with the amount of attention she’s getting at the moment.
Ronda has said that professional wrestling is her life now, and she has signed a full time WWE contract. But it looks like she’s going to have to work to earn the respect of the locker room.
