WWE Star Returns To The Ring For First Time In 8 Months

Recently WWE shook things up with the main roster and several NXT stars were called up. NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn made their in-ring debut on SmackDown this week, and they defeated the team of Valentina Feroz and Yulisa Leon.

It’s been a while since fans have seen Yulisa Leon make an appearance on WWE programming as she was sidelined back in September of 2022 due to a knee injury. However, she’s now back in action and she took to Twitter to post the following message thanking everyone for their support during her time of recovery:

Yulisa Leon first participated in the WWE tryouts in December of 2019 and it was reported in February of 2021 that she had signed with the company. WWE later confirmed the signing in April of 2021. She went on to debut on 205 Live and then started making appearances in NXT. Obviously it’s been a long road to recovery for Yulisa Leon, but she seems happy to be back.
