WWE is always reshuffling the deck and a few months ago fans saw Apollo Crews make his return to NXT which left fans wondering what would happen to Commander Azeez. Over the weekend that question was answered as Commander Azeez returned to the NXT brand at a live event.
It looks like Commander Azeez will be working as a bodyguard for Cora Jade moving forward. He also debuted a new look including a beard and all black attire which can be seen below.

Cora Jade turned heel during the 7/12 episode of NXT when she hit her tag team partner Roxanne Perez with one of the NXT Women’s Tag Team Title belts. She later went on to throw the NXT Women’s Tag Team Title belt in the trash.
It appears that Commander Azeez is the latest addition to Cora Jade’s new heel persona, so it will be interesting to see how this plays out in NXT moving forward. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
