WWE Star Returning Next Week, Sheamus Talks Working With Younger Talents

The Miz has been off TV for several weeks now filming what is sure to be his next hit movie, “The Marine 5: Battleground.” Miz being off TV is either a good thing or a bad thing depending on how you feel about the current Intercontinental Champion, but either way you better get ready for his return because he’ll be coming back to the WWE sooner rather than later.

Filming for “The Marine 5: Battleground” wraps up this week and now The Miz is scheduled for next Tuesday’s SmackDown tapings in Miami, but as of right now The Miz is not being advertised for Raw Monday night in Tampa. Maryse, Heath Slater, Bo Dallas, Naomi and Curtis Axel have also been away filming the movie and it looks like they will be returning soon as well. There’s no word yet on if WWE has plans in place for The Miz to defend his Intercontinental Championship at Battleground next month.

WWE Superstar Sheamus recently spoke to Muscle & Fitness about his career and his goals going forward. When asked what’s next for his career, Sheamus said he wants to focus on helping younger talents. You can check out the full interview here along with a quote below.

Right now I’m in a very good place were I have achieved 4 World Heavyweight Titles, I’ve won the Royal Rumble, and Money in the Bank. The challenge now is to help some of the new kids that are coming up through the ranks. I’m really excited about getting in the ring with some fresh new opponents and helping to make the next generation of superstars.
