WWE has released a number of Superstars throughout 2021, and Mas Luchas recently reported that Lucha House Party member Gran Metalik requested to be released from the company due to a lack of opportunities.
PWInsider has confirmed that the report is correct, and that Gran Metalik did indeed request to be released from his contract. It’s also being reported that both Gran Metalik and Lince Dorado have both been seen at recent TV tapings waiting to speak to management about their unhappiness regarding how they’re currently being used.
It’s not clear at this point in time if Lince Dorado has requested to be released from WWE.
Gran Metalik started working with WWE in 2016 when he competed in the Cruiserweight Classic, and he then went on to work in the cruiserweight division before eventually forming Lucha House Party with Kalisto and Lince Dorado in 2018. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
