WWE contracts are a hot topic right now as a number of top stars are currently under deals that are set to expire in 2024. At this point there’s no telling who’s going to re-sign, but it looks like at least on WWE star has put pen to paper on a new deal.
Dragon Lee first signed with WWE in 2022 and he went on to perform for the NXT brand. In recent months Dragon Lee has been making appearances on the main roster and the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Dragon Lee officially signed a main roster deal last week.
“Dragon Lee signed his new main roster deal last week. Basically it made it worth it to him of having signed the NXT deal rather than the offered AEW deal. As noted, he went to people who knew the U.S. scene who told him he’d be lost in the shuffle in AEW.”
Dragon Lee was officially added to the SmackDown roster on WWE.com last month, so it looks like we’ll be seeing a lot more of him on the blue brand moving forward.
Stay tuned for more updates on Dragon Lee’s status as they become available.
