The last few weeks have been big for the world of professional wrestling and fans saw a number of surprise entrants compete in the Royal Rumble matches last month.
Former NXT Champion Bron Breakker entered the 30 man Royal Rumble match and he put on an impressive performance. Following his appearance in the Royal Rumble it was revealed that Bron Breakker was getting called up to the WWE main roster.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Bron Breakker is going to be receiving a substantial push. Bron Breakker’s brand has not been revealed just yet, but WWE is currently doing a storyline where both Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis are bidding for him.
Brock Lesnar was originally set to compete in the Royal Rumble match last month. However, Brock was pulled due to the Vince McMahon lawsuit and it was later reported that Bron Breakker played the role that Brock Lesnar was set to play in the match. There were reportedly plans in place for Brock Lesnar to face Dominik Mysterio at Elimination Chamber and Gunther at WrestleMania, but there’s no word on whether or not Bron Breakker will be working those matches instead.
