This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw took place from the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, MI but at least one name was noticeably absent from the broadcast.
Last week former Raw Tag Team Champions AJ Styles and Omos split up, and while AJ Styles did appear on this week’s episode of Raw Omos did not.
PWInsider reports that Omos was in Detroit on Monday, but multiple sources confirm that he left Detroit and flew home before the Monday Night Raw TV taping.
Original plans called for AJ Styles and Omos to face off in a match on Raw, but obviously that didn’t happen. AJ Styles instead ended up defeating Apollo Crews on Raw.
There’s currently no word on why Omos flew home before the taping, but he did work the Madison Square Garden live event on SUnday when he faced off against Styles. Stay tuned for updates.
