WWE Star Reportedly Has Backstage Heat Following Raw

This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw featured some big moments and at one point Carlito made his way to Adam Pearce’s office to speak with the General Manager. IYO Sky and Kairi Sane were leaving as Carlito was entering the room. Before he addressed Adam Pearce, Carlito said, “I gotta learn Chinese.”

IYO Sky and Kairi Sane are both Japanese and it sounds like Carlito has some heat following Raw. During an episode of Backstage Pass Q&A, WrestleVotes noted that the line was not scripted, and that Carlito did get some heat for it.

“That line was unscripted, that was from Carlito. There was some heat on Carlito for it. I know, speaking to people I talked to, it did take them by surprise. So, we’ll see what happens out of it. I don’t know how big a deal they’re gonna make it, but probably not a great look for Carlito.”

Recently it’s been rumored that Carlito could be parting ways with The Judgment Day and starting a singles run, so it will be interesting to see where things go from here for the former Intercontinental Champion.
