In the world of professional wrestling WWE stars come and go, but fans have seen some interesting returns since last year. Bray Wyatt made his big comeback at the Extreme Rules premium live event in October of 2022, and shortly after the world was introduced to the Uncle Howdy character.
WWE never officially confirmed who was under the Uncle Howdy mask, but at this point it seems to be well known by most wrestling fans that Bo Dallas was the one who portrayed the character on TV.
Unfortunately Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas were both pulled from TV back in March due to Bray’s health issues. During a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer recently shared an update on the status of Bo Dallas and noted that Dallas is not expected to return.
“I think he’s done. The only reason he was even being used was as a favor to Bray Wyatt. It’s possible they’ll use him, but I don’t expect him to be back.”
At this point in time it doesn’t seem that WWE has any plans for the Uncle Howdy character. Obviously things could always change in the future, but it doesn’t sound like Bo Dallas will be appearing on WWE programming anytime soon.
