Business has picked up in a major way for the women’s division in WWE. Recently a tournament kicked off on SmackDown to crown the first ever WWE Women’s United States Champion, and this week on Raw the tournament for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship kicked off as well.
Dakota Kai, Shayna Baszler and Katana Chance faced off in a triple threat match on the most recent episode of Raw, and it was Dakota Kai who picked up the win to advance in the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship tournament.
Ahead of Raw, Triple H posted a photo of the brackets for the tournament on social media, and it appears that Sonya Deville isn’t happy about the fact that she wasn’t included. Deville responded to Triple H’s tweet when she posted a video questioning why Dakota Kai is in the tournament and she’s not.
“I have literally overcome things, but I don’t sit here and brag about how much I deserve things. You have Dakota Kai in the tournament. Now we’re applauding her so much because she’s come back from her fourth injury in four years, and that’s something to brag about now?! That’s something that’s rewarded now? What are we doing?”
I would post the rest of the video but I wouldn’t wanna get “in trouble” https://t.co/PTgwfoHGjf pic.twitter.com/SLph94QMNs
