Jeff Hardy has been one of the biggest names in professional wrestling for decades now, and his latest run with WWE came to an end last week when the company released him.
The Charismatic Enigma left through the crowd during a six man tag team match at a live event in Edinburg, TX and it was later reported that WWE officials sent him home after the incident. It was also reported that the company offered to send Hardy to rehab, and he was released from his contract after he refused the offer.
Baron Corbin recently reacted to a wrestling podcaster claiming that Hardy faked his issues so he could get released on purpose when he dropped the following comment: “Literally one of the dumbest people on the planet!”
At this point it’s not clear what the future holds for Jeff Hardy, but both Matt Hardy and Jeff’s wife Beth have issued statements saying that he is ok. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
