WWE Star Pulled From The Last Time Is Now Tournament

The end of John Cena’s career is quickly approaching as the current WWE Intercontinental Champion only has two appearances left on his schedule. It’s been confirmed that Cena will be competing in his final match at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13th, and he will face off against the winner of The Last Time Is Now Tournament.

During the 11/10 episode of Monday Night Raw, Sheamus advanced in The Last Time Is Now Tournament when he defeated Shinsuke Nakamura in a first round match. However, WWE announced today that Sheamus has been pulled from the tournament due to injury when the company posted the following:

“BREAKING NEWS: Due to a shoulder injury, @WWESheamus is not medically cleared to continue competition in The Last Time is Now Tournament.

Additional information will be provided tonight on #SmackDown.”

According to the announcement more addition regarding the situation with Sheamus will be provided on this week’s episode of SmackDown. WWE is currently focusing on the following points for tonight’s show:
