This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw is set to air live from Quebec City and it’s shaping up to be a big show. WWE has confirmed that CM Punk will be opening the show, and Becky Lynch will also be defending her WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Maxxine Dupri.
Originally Naomi was scheduled to defend her WWE Women’s World Championship against Iyo Sky during Raw this week, but WWE has confirmed that the title match has been canceled.
Ahead of tonight’s show WWE has announced that current WWE Women’s World Champion Naomi is not medically cleared to compete, so her match with Iyo Sky will not be taking place on Raw. The official WWE Twitter account posted the following:
“BREAKING NEWS: Naomi is not medically cleared to compete and therefore her scheduled match against Iyo Sky will not take place tonight on Monday Night Raw.
