WWE Star Possibly Undergoing Major Character Change

It’s always unfortunate when a wrestler suffers an injury inside the ring and a number of WWE stars are currently sitting on the sidelines. Back in May, Zoey Stark faced off against Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky in a Money in the Bank Qualifying Match and she suffered a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus. Stark has been out of action since then, but it sounds like WWE is already making plans for her return.

Bodyslam is reporting that Zoey Stark’s recovery is going well and the current timeline for her return is some point in mid-2026. It’s being said that WWE officials are still very high on Zoey Stark, and there’s talk of her character returning as a babyface when she’s back on TV.

Zoey Stark first signed with WWE and she went on to join the NXT brand where she won the NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles alongside Iyo Sky. In 2023, Stark was called up to the WWE main roster and she formed an alliance with Trish Stratus during the Hall of Famer’s feud with Becky Lynch.

Stark has been working as a heel since she joined the main roster, so it will be interesting to see how things play out if she does take on a babyface role when she returns.

Stay tuned for updates.
