It’s never a good thing when a WWE star is sidelined due to injury, and earlier this week Karl Anderson took to social media to reveal that he recently underwent surgery. Anderson noted in his announcement that he would be out of action until after WrestleMania.
Anderson shared an update on his status on the Talk N Shop podcast when he confirmed that he underwent surgery due to a partially torn labrum and torn rotator cuff. He also stated that his recovery will take anywhere from six to nine months.
“That’s the prognosis, I flew to Birmingham, and I got surgery. We’re not going to go too deep into it. It doesn’t really matter. The prognosis is six to nine months out.”
Karl Anderson last wrestled in a dark match at the 10/1 NXT TV tapings when The OC faced off against Hank and Tank. He last wrestled on television when The OC faced Hank and Tank during the 9/24 episode of NXT.
