In recent weeks fans have seen a lot more crossover between NXT and the main roster. This week R-Truth headed to NXT to take on Grayson Waller and during the match Truth went for a flip dive to the outside on Waller.
R-Truth fell awkwardly and grabbed his leg shortly after he landed. The match was then stopped and medial officials helped R-Truth up the ramp.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that it’s unconfirmed at this point, but the belief is that R-Truth tore his quad during the match. If it is indeed a torn quad then it seems that R-Truth could be dealing with a serious injury as a torn quad could put him on the sidelines for several months.
At this point there is no timetable for Truth’s return. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
