Tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown Live will focus on the fallout from the Money in the Bank pay-per-view, and at least one return has already been confirmed for the show. It was recently announced that Daniel Bryan will be returning to SmackDown Live tonight, and he will be addressing the controversial finish to the first ever women’s Money in the Bank ladder match.

It looks like Daniel Bryan may not be the only star returning tonight, as PWInsider is reporting that former United States Champion Rusev is in Dayton, OH, and he’s set to be backstage for tonight’s SmackDown Live taping. It’s possible that he may be appearing on tonight’s show, but his return to television has not been confirmed.
Rusev has been out of action since March due to a shoulder injury. He recently demanded a WWE Title shot, and he posted a video message saying that he was coming to SmackDown Live to confront Shane McMahon and demand a title match. However, Rusev never made good on his promise as WWE changed creative plans.
