Some fans go to a WWE house show in order to get a souvenir. But most people just bring enough cash for a t-shirt or an autographed 8×10. But one fan decided he wanted to take that concept to the extreme.
At the recent house show in Pueblo, Colorado a guy tried to jump the barricade and bombard the timekeeper’s area during Jinder Mahal’s WWE Championship defense against Shinsuke Nakamura.
Security promptly took him down and he was carted away. He didn’t get his hands on the belt. But it was very clear this overzealous fan was headed toward Jinder Mahal’s WWE Championship. Perhaps he really didn’t want The Modern Day Maharaja to have it. Or maybe he just thought it would be a good idea and nobody would notice.
Either way, it’s never a good idea to jump the barricade at a pro wrestling show. This is just one of the most recent examples of it not working out well for someone. Just ask the guy who recently tried to join the action at an NXT house show how it worked out for him.
Therefore, if you want to be on the other side of that barricade your best option is still probably to just go to wrestling school or try out in NXT.
WWE’s partnership with KFC has seen a lot of different Superstars take on the costume of legendary KFC founder Col. Sanders. Dolph Ziggler, R-Truth, Shawn Michaels, and many more have sat in the makeup chair and put on a blonde wig and a white suite.
It’s one of the more entertaining corporate partnerships we’ve seen in a long time, that’s for sure. Not only is it rather entertaining, but it also gives fans a chance to make some killer gifs.
If you were wondering who is set to take on the Col Sanders getup next, then we have your answer. Thanks to an Instagram message from Kurt Angle we get a sneak peek at an Olympic Hero Colonel Sanders.
Angle obviously had a ton of fun and we can’t wait to see this commercial drop. If they use it at the next Raw pay-per-view you might want to cross your fingers for TLC to see this new commercial’s world debut.
