WWE Star Not Being Used Right Now

Between Raw, SmackDown and NXT there are a number of talented wrestlers on the WWE roster, but not all of them are being used right now. Roderick Strong has had a fairly consistent presence on NXT programming for years. However, he has not appeared on the show in months.

It was recently reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Roderick Strong is still under contract with WWE, but he is not currently being used and the reason why is unknown.

Most recently Roderick Strong was appearing on TV as part of the Diamond Mine faction in NXT. Strong was then sidelined due to an injury back in September of 2022 which delayed storyline plans for Diamond Mine.

It was reported last year that Roderick Strong had requested his release from WWE multiple times, but he request was not granted. It was also noted that he reportedly re-signed with WWE shortly before the Diamond Mine stable debuted. There’s currently no word on what the future holds for him.
