It looks like at least one WWE star is on their way out of the company as it was recently reported that Ricochet gave his notice and informed WWE officials that he would be leaving when his current deal expires. Now it seems that Ricochet will be written off TV sooner than later.
PWInsider is reporting that the current plan is for Ricochet to make his final WWE appearance on Monday Night Raw this week. The former WWE Intercontinental Champion reportedly has no more dates scheduled with WWE.
It’s being said that unless WWE makes Ricochet an offer he can’t refuse before his current deal expires, and he changes his mind, then Ricochet’s run with the company will most likely be completed this week.
Ricochet first signed with WWE in 2018 and since joining the company he has become a one time NXT North American Champion, a one time WWE Intercontinental Champion, a one time United States Champion and the inaugural WWE Speed Champion.
Both AEW and NJPW are expected to be interested in Ricochet once he becomes a free agent. Stay tuned for updates.
