WrestleMania weekend was eventful for The Miz as he lost an impromptu match with Pat McAfee on night 1, and then he was put in another impromptu match when Shane McMahon made his surprise return during night 2. Unfortunately Shane got injured just moments after the bell rang, so he couldn’t finish the match. Snoop Dogg then improvised as he stepped up and defeated The Miz on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
The Miz appeared on WWE Raw this week and he was frustrated as he recapped his weekend. The former WWE Champion said that he’s done with surprises, and then Matt Riddle made his return.
Matt Riddle got on the mic and asked the fans if they missed him to a big reaction from the crowd. The Miz then hit him from behind, but Riddle got the upper hand and took Miz out with the Bro Derek then celebrated.
Riddle has been off TV since the December 5, 2022 episode of Monday Night Raw when he was written off after Solo Sikoa destroyed him. His return has been rumored for some time now and it looks like he’s officially back on Monday nights.
After the commercial break it was announced that Matt Riddle will go one on one with The Miz next week on Raw. Stay tuned for updates as they become available.
